The view from our car window is less than optimal for Helena whose seat sits very low. But she takes advantage of what little view she has and on occasion points out some interesting things.
For example, the other day on the way to the parade, she looks out the window and says "Yook, that's maple tree! Sure enough, high on the hill stood a huge maple tree. She has a book all about maple trees and maple syrup, so that's how she recognized it. I am hoping that together we can learn a lot more tree types as soon as we move to our country home in a month.
Today while parked waiting for daddy, Helena looked up and said, "There 'Merica's Flag!" Again, she recognizes it from a4th of July book as well as from having a little one to wave at the 4th of July parade.
